So I came across this crosscut on Ebay... from the close up pic of the Medallion it seems to be from 1953 - 55. Can someone tell me if the Disston saws from that time period were still crescent or taper ground? It seems to be in great shape. Thoughts?

I don't think that medallion does go to that saw. It was put on later. Four perforated teeth on the heel suggests a VCSC. Flip it to the right side and check for a boxed C and if in the transition with Jemco, a large J.
