This is great, first time I've seen a Curtis catalog! I didn't see a mention of the diamond around a circle stamp. I don't normally see an etch but I do see the diamond/circle on D-handles.

Glad you find them helpful. I don't find too many Curtis records or manuals, but I thought this one was good too. I do have another book from 1905, but is something like 200+ pages, and mostly about machinery. Roughly 40 MB. I should just clip it down to the few pages that relate to crosscut saws and post that here. In the 1905 book it lists a couple of Cutis saw lines; Acorn Brand and Empire Brand with "Dimond" steel. Both have logos that I have not seen on a saw in person.

Thanks ChiricahuaZac - here in middle America (flyover country) most of the saws I have, find or otherwise procure, are Curtis saws. They sharpen well and cut good! Only 6 hours from St Louis to here.
