36" Disston Champion tooth

Here's a 36" Disston Champion tooth I just finished tuning. It's a nice, stout little saw. A lot of the 36" single buck saws I've used have seemed seemed pretty flimsy in comparison.

I put a Western on it just for test cutting. I'm repairing the original D handle.

Nice etch on this one, but no numbers or model name.



Here it is with a 26 Hudson Bay axe for scale.



This saw had been filed down past the original gullets, so I had a lot filing to do to re-create the gullets and give myself some room to file.
