well this saw went on the block yesterday so i thought i would post documentation with some pics - while i can still find them.
this is a full wide saw that is in pretty good shape - i set it up for the western woods - with a little extra appetite in it just for the heck of it - the plate characteristics justify it - it has been opened up a little so it is strung pretty taut - great harmonics ... it was singing to me while i worked on it. runs very smooth, very strong and surprisingly well in green eucalyptus which is pretty dense stuff.

Nice saw is right. What's the length? My 4 1/2 foot 514 is my single buck workhorse. I take that and a 6' Simonds 503 on all my logouts that don't require a 7 footer.

hey sam - well .... this saw is 54" - look up there ^^^
i'll have to double check .... but ..... i think this converts to about 4 1/2 feet.
