Ohlen Bishop 388

Here's a new condition Ohlen Bishop No. 388 5' Perf Lance Felling saw. It has never been sharpened and was coated in cosmoline (I think. Nasty thick black tar-like hard oil). It cleaned up great and I wanted to post up some photos of it for reference before I tune it.

Here's the etch, one of the nicest I've seen.

I know this is an old post on the 388, but I picked up the identical saw. There almost no information on #388  60".

My etch is 80%+ and the rest of the saw will clean up very well. Unfilled.

Any idea if it is crescent ground? In your photos it looks to be. Looking at my saw its not that obvious.
How did it sharpen?

Thanks,
Mnshield
