Craftsman D-handle, perforated lance tooth

Post by sumnergeo » October 14th, 2015, 10:43 am

With recent posts regarding who made saws for Crafstman, I looked at two of mine. One is Curtis with the diamond stamp and the distinctive oval holes. The other is a perforated lance tooth that has no makers mark that I can see but it has a notch at the end that may be diagnostic. The etch says Hand Made and Patent Ground. It is .080 at the teeth and .070 at the back, four feet long and has No. 4957 on the etch.
