One of the Volunteer groups that do trail maintenance, brought in a saw this morning to be sharpened. They tried it out on a couple logs and found it didn’t cut very well. Looking it over, it had just a basic sharpening by the factory. Most of these new saws never were sharpened fully unless specified. This saw was one of the stories you just hear about. $25 at a garage sale!
I’ll report back in a week and let you all know how it saws timber.
